Viewline was formed in late 2005 after its founders discovered that there was a need for good drainage CCTV reporting software at a reasonable price. Starting from their home office, Viewline first supplied their product to local drainage contractors. Feedback from these companies enabled improvement of the program to the point where larger scale distribution was considered.

Viewline uses the Internet for 90% of it's incoming orders, making Viewline a truly online company.
