Using your 120W Folding Solar Blanket
UNPACKING YOUR SOLAR BLANKET
1.Find a suitable location to unfold the Solar Blanket, away from sharp objects, liquids and other hazards that could damage your solar blanket. Ensure there is sufficient space for the Solar Blanket to be spread out fully.
2.Whilst unfolding, take care with the panels making sure they do not bend.
CONNECTING/DISCONNECTING YOUR SOLAR BLANKET TO THE SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER & BATTERY
When connecting the Solar Blanket with the Solar Charge Controller, the order in which you connect the components is important so that the Solar Charge Controller will show the correct information. Along with this, connecting the components in the wrong order could damage your controller.
1. First connect the Solar Charge Controller with the lead acid battery. Using the Anderson cables supplied with the unit.
2. Secondly, connect Solar Charge Controller with the Solar Blanket.
3. Finally, connect the load that you are wishing to power off the Solar Blanket.
To disassemble the components, make sure to follow the steps in the reverse order.
NEVER STORE YOUR SOLAR BLANKET WITH THE BATTERY LEADS CONNECTED TO THE BLANKET.
