The Company J. J. Mehta & Sons was established in 1910 in Karachi (then India). After India-Pakistan partition in 1947 the company opened their headquarters in Mumbai (Fort). Thereafter we opened 3 other branches all over Mumbai. 1973 saw family partition and division of all branches amongst family members. The Fort Branch group ventured into Exports in 1980 and since has been exporting Photography Products worldwide. Our kitty of products include All-India Distributors for Konica Color Films from 1980 to 1987. All-India Importers/Agents for Noritsu brand Minilab Systems from 1985 to 1990. we acquired all-India distributorship for Marumi brand Filters and Acessories in 1990 until current. The 4th Generation took over the entreprenuerial activities since last 10 years and were actively involved in exports. 1997 Kodak India Ltd. announced us as their Western region Distributor for Digital Cameras and Accessories. In 2000 we became All-India distributor agents for Giottos Tripods. Due to the changes in Photo market worldwide and invasion of Digital Photography, the company decided to develop their first imaging software in January 2004, which is increasing its market share in India since its launch. It was featured in the prominent Photo magazine in India in June 2004 issue and the response has been overwhelming since.
