Since the takeover the commercialisation of the products has started but has not yet reached its full potential capabilities. Furthermore, the company acquired a new plant for depuration and distribution of molluscs built and equipped in accordance with the newest European requests and regulations. Both the aquaculture plant and the depuration and distribution centre are under constant veterinary control of the Veterinary Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, to ensure food safety.
In the near future (2 years time), the doubling of the production of shellfish and further modernisation and optimisation of cost effectiveness and competitiveness of the whole aquaculture plant is planned.
