The Second Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (hereafter called CETC2) is a China national research institute specializing in research and development of electronic equipment and semiconductor materials, founded in 1962 and located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China.

For more than half a century, CETC2 has been committed to the development of electronics and information industry, keeping constant exploration and research in integrated design of machinery, electronics, photology and thermology, as well as R&D of equipment and semiconductor material process, having acquired over 50 national patents in past 5 years. Now CETC2 has formed its own advantages and features in such R&D fields as the 3rd generation semiconductor SiC material and solar polysilicon cells, semiconductor IC manufacturing equipment, flat panel display production equipment, vacuum welding and heat treatment equipment, surface treatment and cleaning equipment, automatic storage system and solar cell production equipment, able to provide customers the system integration services of high-purity semiconductor materials and process equipment. Our products are mostly applied in aviation, aerospace, shipping, metallurgy, automobile, steel, electronics, and are widely exported to South Korea, Japan, America, Russia, Australia, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia, Panama and many other countries.
