He/she will have the knowledge and the experience to guide you in the best course to take in the development of a plan of action. Once you have the plan in place, then you will want to check in with your up-line leader weekly for an accountability check. The accountability checks will allow you and your up-line leader to make tweaks and adjustments as necessary.

    2. Take action immediately.

    Once your plan of action is in place, take action immediately. Your Green Organics International business will not grow unless you start to work on it and do so on a daily basis. Your marketing methods don't need to be perfect for you to get started. They will never be perfect. The secret is to just get started. You will make the adjustments along the way.

    3. You have a business, not a hobby.

Keep on moving on because for every person you talk to you are getting that much closer to a "Yes."

    5. Always follow up with your prospects within 24 hours.

    Out of the ten tips listed in this article, this tip could be the most critical. When you make contact with a lead and send them to a conference call, website, or recorded webinar... Set up a time to call them back and answer any questions they may have within the next 24 hours. Too many times distributors will delay in calling prospects back in a timely manner and end up losing a sale because the fire tt the prospect originally had has now cooled down. Get the prospect while they are "hot" and thinking about it.

    6. Do not use hype or lie to people to get them to join your business.

    Telling people what they want to hear instead of telling them what they need to hear is a bad situation to put yourself in. I used to tell people what I needed to get them to join and it made for a bad situation as you end up answering hard questions later and they end up quitting the business. Finding like-minded people is the key and it is better to be truthful and not sponsor so many rather than lie and sponsor a lot.

    7. It will cost some money to operate you home business.

    It makes me laugh when people call me and ask me if it will cost them anything to get into the Green Organics International business and if so, how much on a monthly basis. They don't have any money to spend. Yet they will tell me they need to find a business that will make them an extra $1,000 per month. Are you kidding me? Any legitimate home based business is the same as any other business. It requires some start-up money and there will be some operating expenses for advertising and marketing.

    8. Don't let the "Negative" people get you down.

    There is a saying I once heard and it goes like this, "If you want what successful people have, do what successful people do." I can tell you right now that I have had m fair share of family members and friends make fun of me and tell me I'm crazy for wasting my time and money on an MLM business. But here's the thing... These same people live paycheck to paycheck and have no savings and will continue to work their boring, low paying jobs for the rest of their lives. Don't listen to people who try to ruin your plans for better things. Start associating with people who have attained what you want and you will eventually get it.

    9. Keep in contact with those you sponsor.

    Continue call and visit with those you personally sponsor even if it is just to see how the wife and kids are doing. Those you continue to stay in communication with will know that you truly care about them and they will continue to work. They will follow you in hard times as well as good. Let them know they can call you anytime and you will assist them in any way you can.

    10. Don't waste your valuable time with those who want to argue.

    This one is an easy trap to fall into. I run across leads all the time that want to argue and say your Green Organics International business will never work and they have something better. It is easy to get defensive and start spending time standing up for your own company but you are better off just telling them that you have many other people to contact, wish them luck, and tell them to have a nice day and move on. You can waste a lot of valuable time and the bottom line is that these types will never join your business anyway. Get over it and move on.
