Product Description

 What is chopped glass fiber  

It is a product group, bobbins which have been obtained after the fiber has been pulled by the glass fiber manufacturer and chopped via a second process to 3-24 mm ready for sale. It is mixed into thermoses like polyester or thermoplastics like poly-amide, polypropylene and prepared as thermoses and thermoplastic composites appropriate for production by press or injection methods.

Where is e-glass-fiber chopped strand used?  

Glass Fiber Chopped Strand 12mm: 
Glass fiber chopped strand 12 mm is used in BMC (bulk mounding compound) as reinforcement material. BMC (bulk mounding composites) are materials in a compound of a plaster, which is a premix, composed of a resin containing chopped glass fiber and filling material. It is obtained by mixing glass fiber and polyester. 
It is used for the production of medium size parts and preferably by the injection method. The BMC plaster can be prepared in different colors and is especially used in the electric sector, automotive, white goods and also many other sectors.

  Glass fiber chopped strand 6 mm is is used as a reinforcement material to enhance mechanical and heat resistance of PA (Poly-amide, PP (Polypropylene) in thermoset material, (BMC-bulk molding compound) and thermoplastic raw material . 
Special usage areas of glass fiber chopped strand 6mm: 
BMC (Bulk moulding compound), PA (Poly-amide), PP (Polypropylene) thermoplastic glass fibers as reinforcement material.

BMC (bulk moulding compound) are materials in a compound of a plaster, which is composed of a resin containing chopped glass fiber and filling material as reinforcement materials.
