    Perlite is a raw material which, in its natural state, is a glassy volcanic rock containing a percentage of water.

     

    During a process called "Expansion", Perlite is rapidly heated and expands up to twenty times its original size, due to the evaporation of the moisture from within.

     

    Expanded perlite is a super light weight potting media that is clean and easy to use as well as environmentally friendly.It helps plants thrive and improves soil structure,

    keeping it workable for years. This inorganic mineral will produce healthier plants that require less labor and watering.

    Excellent for starting cuttings and storing bulbs Improves drainage and aeration in potting mixes.
