Expanded clay is a lightweight aggregate made from 100% natural clay. It is non-toxic, disease free, chemically inert and has a neutral pH. It is used as a construction aggregate in lightweight concrete castings, floors and panels and as a loose lightweight fill in geotechnical applications.
Hydro Clay pebbles are clean, pH stable, and offer great aeration and drainage in hydroponics, especially in flood and drain, deep water culture, and drip feed systems. Due to their unique structure and ability to cover a large surface area, they offer the ideal environment to foster beneficial bacterial growth around the root zone, leading to naturally healthier plants.

Expanded Clay balls serve to regulate the supply of water by soaking up excess water and releasing it back when needed. This makes plant care easier and reduces the need for watering.
Used as a mulch, clay balls serve as an attractive home decoration element thanks to their rounded form and their gray-brown color.

This mulch is stable and resistant, offering long-lasting use. The balls are inert and hygienic and do not stain flooring if spilled.
WELL-DRAINING
Clay balls, placed in the bottom of pots and flower boxes, are indispensable to ensure proper drainage.
